Resident artist in what is hailed as “the most well known tattoo shop in Portugal,” Fontinha has a portfolio that places him firmly in the realm of the twenty-first century tattooist: it displays a collection of strengths rooted in the ever-growing possibilities of tattoo art, talent that stretches across to reference a number of different traditional genres but which all bears his own stamp and style.

I first came across Whitney Lennox' art when visiting the Low Brow Art Company's website. Little did i know a big "love story" would soon evolve.

Flicking through the artistic treats adorning the site, there it was: "Get busy living", one of Whitney's most famous paintings. It blew me away immediately and I couldn’t get over the fact I hadn’t heard of her before.

As an art enthusiast, obviously I investigated the ‘international webspace’ further, eventually finding her MySpace, where things got even better. Not only was she an amazing artist on paper, but was also tattooing.

Daveee (you can pronounce it just as though there was a ‘y’ at the end) has a love of japanesesque pop culture toys, eye poppingly bright colours, graffiti art and a good straightforward dose of cheeky humour – it’s no wonder then, that he’s gotten so very, deliciously good at what he does, street-flavoured new school tattoos that pop with life, vibrancy and style. We here at tattoo.tv absolutely love him, and we couldn’t stay away from him at our last convention, fighting down the urges to buy tickets to Poland and get ourselves some new ink.
