 Daveee (you can pronounce it just as though there was a ‘y’ at the end) has a love of japanesesque pop culture toys, eye poppingly bright colours, graffiti art and a good straightforward dose of cheeky humour – it’s no wonder then, that he’s gotten so very, deliciously good at what he does, street-flavoured new school tattoos that pop with life, vibrancy and style. We here at tattoo.tv absolutely love him, and we couldn’t stay away from him at our last convention, fighting down the urges to buy tickets to Poland and get ourselves some new ink.
Even the quickest glance at his portfolio and you’ll see how we’ve ended up so entranced by this tattooist, who’s a child of the tattoo scene by some standards at a mere 24 years of age.
Pop art, manga-esque geishas, bright pink flying ipods, gorgeously cheeky diamonds, even a full sleeve dedicated to tropical fruit – his tattoos in total give you the feeling of going on a tour through a candy store. He’s also got a penchant for designing some rather x-rated anatomical tattoo imagery that just, well – doesn’t strike you straight away, but when it does… take a look at his art and you’ll see what we mean!
Asides from his artistic affection for ‘the female form,’ Daveee is a banging conversationalist, happy to talk to anybody who’s got a question or a comment, and more than happy to plan a design with you – it should really go without saying that he’s a custom artist who does his best work when he’s thought it up through the medium of his own artwork. We suspect that there has to be a background in graffiti art somewhere, and his patch of Poland must have some walls and laneways bearing his mark.
He’s already got clients who fly out to Poland specifically to get tattooed by him, and we highly recommend you join them, as it’s more than worth it. You might even end up in the queue behind us…
